Neil Crist
Neil is product management executive with over 12 years of industry experience which includes working as an analyst for a venture capital firm, a consultant for Anderson Consulting, and as a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft. Most recently in 2004, Neil was a founding team member of Jobster, where he led the enterprise product management team.
Before entering the business world, Neil served in US Army Intelligence. In addition to language, interrogation, and intelligence duties, Neil traveled throughout Eastern Europe and the Far East.
Neil has a unique blend of business and technical acumen that has served him well in early stage companies. This has allowed him to integrate himself broadly across all facets of the software development life cycle, leading product development and launch efforts for products in a variety of market segments, including consumer, small & medium business, and enterprise. He has worked on web-based SaaS products, desktop applications, and in mobility.
Neil serves on the Board of Directors for The Integrity Institute and as an informal advisor to several other emerging companies. He is also a frequent guest speaker at business and alumni events, most recently speaking at the 2007 MBA Executive Leadership Conference at Pacific Lutheran University.
Neil holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship Studies. Neil also holds a certificate in Russian language and area studies from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California. Neil also graduated from the US Army Intelligence School in Fort Huachuca, Arizona while serving in the United States Military.
